Swimming competition at elementary schools was over.

Almost of elementary school kids in my religion can swim very well

for a competition among some other schools at the 6th grade.

My younger daughter is the 6th grade, which is the final year at elementary school. Every school has a lot of events for them to make good memories.

Students come out and talk about their ideas, are cultivated to have positive thinking and attitudes by themselves, and learn the importance to cope with each other. And moreover, all of the processes become very good memories and will keep them into their minds forever.

And they finished one of the events the day before yesterday- A swimming competition in my area.
Several schools near my religion gathered and they had a swimming meet in a swimming pool of them. There were individual and team matches.
Though my kid's school is the smallest among them, they seemed they tried to do their bests to cheer up their frineds as loudly as they could.
And we had a good news to hear that other schools cheered up kids of her school with swimming in a long time as if they were the same school and good friends.

I thought Japanese spirits named "Yamato Damashii"that Japanese cherish a team work were inherited into this younger generations, too.


And then, as soon as the swimming competition was over, they are preparing for the sports festival event.
I listened to the music for the first time today from the school today.
Both students and teachers still have busy days......

Every year, some students can't keep company with the class.
I'm wondering how they are this year... I miss them a lot.


次女が６年生なんですが、小学校最終学年であるこの一年は、どの学校もいろんな行事が目白押しだと思います。

その行事を通して、自分らのアイデアを出し合い、話し合い、自分らの力で進めていく積極的な姿勢を養ったり、その過程において団結することの大切さを学んだり、また何よりそれら一つ一つが良い思い出として、それぞれの胸の中に蓄積されていくので、本当に濃厚な1年だと思います。

そしてビックイベントが一つ、一昨日に終わりました。
地域のいくつかの小学校が集まり、6年生による連合水泳大会が8/30に行われました。
個人競技と学校対抗リレーもあり、うちの子の学校は一番人数が少ないけれど、その分、仲間の応援をみんな力いっぱい大きな声で応援したそうです。
また、他校からも、タイムは遅くても一生懸命泳いでる6年生に、自分の学校と同じくらい大きな声で声援を送ってもらったそうで、こんな小さな子ども達の中においても、チームワームを大切にする日本魂、大和魂は受け継がれているんだな～って微笑ましく思いました。

そして、その連合水泳大会が終わってすぐに、もう学校は運動会の準備です。
今日、初めて運動会用の音楽が学校から流れて来ました。
休む間もなく、子どもも、先生も大変。

毎年この時期、集団から付いて行けない子どもが続出するのですが、どうしてるのかな～ってフッと恋しくなっちゃいました。
