The visit of a pawnshop to clear a house

The left stuff is my raised family's Japanese family Buddhist altar,

the middle and right spaces are alcoves, recesses in a traditional Japanese room.

We call "tokonoma" for it in Japanese.

We put hanging scrolls on the wall, vases and pots on the floor.

床の間に置いてた物が全て無くなった・・・。

Since my parents passed away already, nobody has lived there for 2 years.
I made up into mind that I would clear up things they left there.

My friend taught me that a pawnshop visited a house and brought almost everything except for some.
I called and made a reservation it and he visited there today.

I was given only 30 mins and he purchased everything I prepared.
It was very helpful because I didn't have to throw them away by myself.
We can ask for the visit of the company and bring things there by ourselves as well.

They took books, vases, ceramic pots, paintings, pictures, PC, printer, light stands, chair, calligraphy sets and so on today, and almost of them seemed to be delivered overseas.

I felt glad they could have the 2nd lives there again.
I will do it once more again soon.




もう既に両親もおらず、２年間空き家になっていた実家の整理をしようと、重い腰をようやく上げました。

出張買取してくれる業者があると、友だちに教えて貰ったので、早速電話をして予約をして、来て貰ったのが今日。
上にホームページを載せています。

一人持ち時間が３０分と決められているけれど、軽自動車に入る大きさなら一部の物を除き、ほぼ引き取ってくれるらしいと聞いて、自分で全部運び出し、捨てないといけないかと思っていたけれど、持って行ってくれるのは有難い。
別に、遺品整理に限らず、服とか、食器類、雑貨などの日用品でも気軽に電話したら、出張買取でも、また店に持って行くことも出来るので、捨てるなら活用した方がいいなと思いました。

今日、引き取ってくれた物は、書籍、花瓶、壺、絵画、パソコン、印刷機、電気スタンド、籐の椅子、書道セットで、ほとんどが海外に持って行くらしい。

どこかで第二の人生を送れるのだから、私の気持ちも少し楽になりました。
まだまだ残っているので、また近々依頼をする予定です。
