The retirement from the club at junior high school

My older daughter finished all the competition she should take part in yesterday, the last swimming meeting, and she retired from the swimming club at school.

Thinking about her past, we were told it by her 5th grade classroom teacher that she would feel ashamed at the swimming competition at the 6th grade of elementary school because she couldn't swim at all even though they had swimming lessons at school. And the teacher asked us to corporate so that she could swim so so.

We forced her to go to a swimming school her younger sister does, which gave her the chance to enter the swimming club at school and had good days there.

After the competition, only girls went to a shopping mall, and in the evening, boys and girls of the same club ate out to a yakiniku restaurant.
Her friends and junior colleagues wrote messages on her club T-shirts and a kind of kickboard named 'purubui' and came back home with joy.

I took photos with the feelings I missed my those days before... Ahaha.

She talked to enter a club when she entered a high school.
It seems she could get so many good friends, experiences and memories, too. Good, good.
I feel very happy and thought you had a very good work.

Well, go straight to the entrance exams of high schools next!
But she isn't the type not to do her best only when she was made to do by someone by force.
She must have her aim and think about her own future at her age, so I believe she will go follow her will and forward step by step to gain it.



長女の中学校最後の水泳大会も昨日で終わり、完全に水泳部を引退しました。

思い返せば、５年最後の個人懇談で、担任の先生に一年後の夏に行われる連合水泳大会で泳げなくて、恥ずかしい思いをするだろうから、家庭でも協力して下さいと言われ、嫌がる本人を無理矢理、半強制的に妹が通っている水泳教室に入れたのですが、それがきっかけとなり、中学も水泳部に入り、充実した毎日を送らせて貰っていたようです。

大会が終わって、水泳部女子だけで近くのショッピングモールに遊びに行き、夜には水泳部で焼き肉を食べに行ったようです。
水泳部のクラブTシャツと足で挟むビート版のようなプルブイ一杯に、水泳部みんなからメッセージを書いて貰って、笑顔で帰って来ました。
こんな時代もあったよなあって、母はちょっぴり羨ましく思いながら、写メを撮りました。

高校に無事に入れたら、絶対にクラブには入る！と言っていました。
部活動を通して、本人なりに貴重な仲間、体験、思い出を沢山得たようです。良かった、良かった。

さあ、後は入試に向けて、一直線！
とはいえ、お尻をガンガン叩いたところで、伸びるような性格の子でもないし、人に言われなくても、自分が行きたい志望校や、自分の将来について、自分なりに考えを持っているとは思うので、それに沿って少しずつ前進していってくれるでしょう。
