Festival at a Shrine on January 15 ： Dondo Yaki"

Dondo Yaki

We have a burning festival at a shrine on January 15 every year, though the date might be changed by each shrine.  
We say the festival "Dondo yaki=どんど焼き" in Japanese.
Neighbors bring things that we were ready for the New Year's Day to the nearest one from their houses and put them on the shrine's decided place.  

The shrine people burn a big mountain of things, and neighbors wish for the good health of their families while keeping eyes on it.

My nearest shrine will have the burning festival at 7:00pm today, on January 14.
We have to bring some decorations for the New Year's Day and other things related to shrines by the time.
