My blog is about Japanese cooking recipes, cultures, the study of Basic Japanese and my dailies. I'd be happy if I let you understand what county Japan is like, and try to cook Japanese dishes at home.

How to Prepare Vinegared Rice
Sorry for not uploading at once...
I have got sad news and many things to do. When I can settle down, I will upload more Japanese cooking recipes here.
Please wait for the time will come, thank you.
Today's recipe is about Vinegared Rice.
To cook a sushi roll, we need to prepare for Vinegared Rice.
The recipe is following,
Ingredients (serves 2 or 3 persons)
All of the white rice in my blog "How to cook Japanese rice with a pot"
4 Tbsps vinegar
3 Tbsps sugar
2/3 tsp salt
Vinegar-added water
If you have kobvu kelp, put 4-inch one into a pot when you cook Japanese rice in a pot.
But it's all right unless you have it.
Directions
1. Put the vinegar, sugar and salt into a small pot, and heat slightly until dissolved. Cook the vinegar dressing.
2. Transfer the rice without konbu kelp to a wooden sushi bowl. If you don't have it, you can use a normal bowl, but reduce the amount of vinegar dressing a little.
3. Sprinkle the vinegar dressing all over the rice. Using a flat wooden spoon, toss and cut the rice while cooling it with a hand-fan.
When it's over, cover the rice with a clean cloth moistened with vinegar-added water.
When you mix the vinegar dressing with rice, cutting motion is very important. Otherwise, the rice will become mushy.
If you can make sushi rice, you can arrange it to sushi roll, garnished sushi and of course hand-rolled sushi at home.
I will upload and show some kinds of Japanese sushi next time.
Please enjoy a sushi party at home!!
