Last weekend, my younger daughter told me her drawing was displayed in a public building of my city and we went to look at it.
It was one of the homework of the summer vacation and I saw her to draw it at home.
Hmm, I was about to whisper that it deserved to be shown in public, but managed to stop it, ahaha.
The theme is about the peace and mainly the 5 & 6th grade students drew, I think.
When it comes to the peace, I find it out to abolish nuclear weapons, to lose conflict and to oppose arms, but children's imaginative powers are really funny.
Playing with many kids in a park with fun,
A baby surrounded by his parents happily,
Shoguns during the Sengoku period holding each other,
The most unimaginable thing is a drawing when a boy is about to eat the breakfast!!
It's the most important meal in a day, the boy before eating must feel very happy...
Moreover, the breakfast is a great meal of typically Japanese ones such as grilled samon, miso soup with a lot of ingredients, rice and pickled vegetables.
I thought he must have a nice breakfast every morning.
And also thought I had to prepare for a well-balanced breakfast so that my kids could draw it where I don't know.
先週末に生涯学習センターで次女の絵が飾られていると本人から聞いて、見に行って来ました。
その絵は夏休みの宿題の一つとして、ササッと家で描いていたので見覚えがあったのですが、
う～ん、選ばれるべき作品だったかな？？と思わず口から出そうになったけど、
辛うじて止めることが出来ました。
テーマは「平和」ということで、主に５,６年生が描いた物だと思います。
平和と言えば、核兵器廃絶や、紛争を無くそうとか、武力反対とか私はすぐに思い浮かんで来るけれど、子どもの発想力ってすごく面白い。
公園で子どもたちが笑顔で遊んでいる所や、
赤ちゃんを囲んでいるお父さんとお母さんだったり、
戦国時代の将軍が肩を組んでいる絵だったり・・・。
中でも全く発想すらしなかったのは、男の子が今から朝ごはんを食べようとしている絵でした。
う～ん、確かに一日の中で一番大事な食事だし、今から食べようとしている時の気持ちは平和そのもだなあ。
しかも、バランスの採れた定番の和食の朝ごはんでした。
焼き鮭、味噌汁、ご飯、野菜の漬物が食卓に並べられていました。
この子は毎朝こんなに手の込んだ朝ごはんを食べているのか・・・
と思うと同時に、うちもこんな風に描かれても恥ずかしくない朝ごはんにしなきゃって思いました。
