I came back home safely yesterday!

Just before taking off from the Chitose airport in Sapporo.

It was 5 degrees at the time, while in Osaka....

滑走路と太陽を撮ったのですが、とっても綺麗に撮れたと自画自賛♪

離陸直前の気温は、5℃でしたが、大阪では・・・。

This is a photo in Osaka domestic airport from the plane I took.

The pilot announced it was 20 degrees in Osaka, and rainy.

これが機内から撮った伊丹空港の写真。

気温は20℃もあると、機長が言っていました。

やっぱり大阪って温かいなあ。

We stayed at the hotel named  "Mahoroba" in Noboribetsu onsen as I explained on yesterday's Facebook.

We had a buffet style for both the dinner and breakfast.

昨日Facebookでアップした「まほろば」という旅館に泊まりました。

そこで晩御飯も、朝ごはんも、食べ放題。温泉も露天風呂が4つ、屋内風呂も沢山あり、全部堪能出来ませんでした。

There are 4 onsen baths outside, 6? 7? ones inside.

Dinner

3種類のカニ、天ぷら、いくら、刺身、ホタテの塩焼き、ステーキ等々、沢山ありました。

We could eat seafood, beef, sashimi, 3 kinds of crabs, fruits and desserts as you want.

There was a wooden puzzle in a room, and I couldn't make all the shapes. Too sad.

ホテルの室内に置いてあったんだけど、3種類しか出来なかったのが、悔しかったなあ。

Our special dinner on my daughter's birthday ♪

When I asked my daughter what she wanted to eat for dinner, she replied just "meat".

This plate is for my children I cooked.

I bought expensive Japanese beef, but...She told it was too fatty.

It was good to shop common and cheap beef...

友だちと外出中だった次女に晩御飯は何がいいのかメールで聞いたら、

「にく。」というメールが返って来ました。

これは子ども用の晩御飯。

でも、奮発して買ったステーキなのに、脂っこかったって・・・

やっすい肉で良かったんだ・・・

It was very delicious by my mother-in-law.

お祖母ちゃんお手製のちらし寿司、むっちゃ美味しかった

I cooked many kinds of organic vegetables my parents in law grew.

お祖父ちゃんお祖母ちゃんが育てた野菜をいっぱい使って、チャンチャン焼きを作りました。

Birthday cake she ordered in advance.

She wanted a biiiiiiig and only strawberries cake.

事前に本人が予約していたお誕生日ケーキ。

大きくて、いちごがたっくさん乗ってるケーキが良かったんだって～～

She will become a junior high school student this April.

Her grade, or the 6th grade has only 1 class with 24 boys and 9 girls, but...

The public junior high school she will go has 7 classes per a grade.

I hope she has a good start and wonderful first year in the school. 

来年の4月で中学生になる娘。

6年生は24人位の男の子と9人の女の子の1クラスだけだった小学校時代とは違って、

新しい中学では7クラスはある。。。

そこで良いスタートを切って、楽しい一年を過ごせるといいなあ～

How to cook the beef udon

This recipe is how to cook the Beef udon, or steamy bowl of hot noodles soup.

My friend in Europe asked me how to cook it and I want to share this recipe with others here, too. I hope you can find these ingredients in a supermarket near your places.

While I'm writing this blog, I'm feeling like to eat it for tomorrow's breakfast!!

Enjoy making this Beef udon !! 

 Ingredients for 2 persons 

2 pacages of Udon ( I like Sanuki noodles.)

Sliced beef ( My friend used pork.)   100g

Sliced onion  1/2 onion

For beef

※ water    50cc

※ 2 Tbsp   Soy sauce

※ 1 Tbsp   Sugar

※ 2 Tsp    Milin

For soup

☆ 800cc   water

☆ 2 Tbsp  Dashinomoto *

☆ 4 Tbsp  Mirin

☆ 3 Tbsp  Soy sauce

For toppings

Green onion for taste

Shichimi Togarashi for taste *

Some slices of Narutomaki ( fish cakes )

 How to cook 

1. Boil  ※ seasonings and sliced onion in a pot until onions get worn out.

2. Put meat into 1.

3. The topping meats are finished when they change the color, well-cooked.

4. Boil ☆ ingredients into another pot and then put noodles into it.

   Remove it out after boiling again and serve udon and soup.

お友達から肉うどんのレシピを教えてと依頼があったので、レシピをここでアップすることにしました。

現地のスーパーの調味料の写真を見せて貰ったんだけど、私たちがよく目にする調味料はほとんど売っていましたが、調達する材料を極力減らして考え出したレシピを載せています。

書いてるうちに、肉うどんが食べたくなって来た・・・明日の朝ごはんは肉うどんで決まり！！

My Younger Daughter's Birthday on Labor Thanksgiving Day !!

Today is a national holiday, or the Labor thanksgiving day in Japan.
And my younger daughter's happy birthday of 12 years old !!

She has become much bigger during this year and couldn't wear her old clothes, and then my 2 daughters and I can share same ones...
Am I starting to get shorter already...?

Beside me who was impressed with the growth,
she booked a birthday cake and called to invite her grandparents
and taught me the movie I will like starts on the same date as her birthday.
What a good invitation she did !!

She is too sweet for me to turn down her favors and so made a promise to go to watch the movie together.
But today is a national holiday, when her grandparents will come here from the morning to celebrate her, therefore, we changed the date.

Then, she made a promise with her friends again soon,
"Am I alright if I hung out with my friends at daytime, because the party starts this late afternoon?"
She could change it very quickly....

I'm thinking she has completely flied far away from me...





今日は勤労感謝の日。
そしてうちの次女の１２歳の誕生日～。

今年一年でググッと背が伸びて、今まで着ていた服が着れなくなり、ついに娘二人と私の三人で服が共有できるようになりました・・・。
（もう私は身長が縮んでしまっているのかもしれないけれど・・・。）

シミジミと娘の成長ぶりに浸っていた私の横で、
自分の誕生日会の時のケーキを予約したり、おばあちゃんに誕生日会のお誘いの電話をしたり、
ママが好きそうな映画が私の誕生日の日に公開されるんだって～と、
これまたお誘いの仕方の上手いこと！

次女に甘い私は、ついつい一緒に観に行く約束をしたけれど、
今日は祝日なので、朝からおじいちゃんとおばあちゃんが、お誕生日をお祝いしてくれるために来てくれることになり、映画は別の日に行くことにしました。

すると、早速お友達とお約束し直したようで、
「お誕生日会は夜でしょ？昼間は遊びに行ってもいいよね？」と、切り返しの早いこと～～～。

まあ、私の手からすっかり羽ばたいて行ってしまったなあ～～。​
