Reuse and recycling

Today, I put away clothes for all of my family.

I'm poor at clearing up, but if I can manage to do it and all the house are clean, my lazy and annoying daughter could understand how and what to do someday, I wonder.

I decided to start it by myself.

There are too many things at home, which makes me hard to clear, thus, I determined to reduce the amount and start from the clothes.

The aim of this time is to leave only things we use.

However, I didn't want to throw away things we didn't use, so I searched into how to reuse and recycle on the internet.

Since they are the clothes that my kids couldn't wear already in size or my daughters didn't want to wear, they are still good ones...

Because I had warm memories in every clothes, I can't throw them away, moreover, it's obvious to be used by someone is better than to be kept being in drawers.

That's why I looked for the way.

The size of a cardboard box is decided, which is 120-160cm in total of the length, width and height. When we fill the box with wearable clothes, the company can get it for free.

But in the places of Hokkaido, Okinawa and the other isolated islands in Japan, people have to pay the delivery fee by themselves.

今日、家族の服の整理をしました。

どちらかと言えば、片付けは苦手だけれど、苦手な私が頑張って片付けをして、家中整理整頓されていたら、あの散らかし放題の娘も、いつかは変わってくれるかなって、まずは第一歩を踏み出すことにしました。

余りにも荷物があり過ぎるのも、整頓が出来ない理由の一つになるので、減らしていこうと、手始めに、服から仕分けをしました。

今回の目的は、使うものだけを残すということ。

だけど、使わない物を捨てるのはとても気が引けるので、リユース、リサイクル出来ないかネットで調べました。だって、すぐに大きくなってサイズ的に着れなくなった物や、娘たちが気に入らず全く着ていなかったりで、まだまだ着れる物ばかりなんだもん・・・。

一枚一枚に思い入れがあって、なかなか捨てれることが出来ないし、

しかも、日の目を見ることもなく箪笥の中で眠っているよりは、誰かに使って貰った方が良いということは明らかですよね。

ということで、見つけました。

段ボールのサイズはある程度決まっていて、そこに一杯服を入れると、無料で取りに来てくれるらしいです。

その段ボールのサイズは、たて、よこ、高さの合計が120～160cm以内です。ただし、北海道や沖縄や離島は各自負担らしいです。
