Remodeling plan of my kids : closet

Yesterday, I cleared up in a closet.

The upper part has things we often use such as medicine and tool boxes.

There are kid's drawers in the lower part.

As one of my kids is poor at putting away, I thought about 3 points of the followings.

1, To show clearly how to put on

2, No space they could use thing as a temporary storage

3, They can keep thinking to make them go back to the place.

I hope my daughter to feel comfortable to see things neatly and clean, but I don't know whether she can do or not.

By the way, about 3 boxes I bought before, they are very helpful for us and our daily lives.

Whenever they put the clothes back to their drawers, I was complained by 2 olders, however, we haven't had unpleasant time and quarrels at all.

My son said he had to fold and put back them in seeing his box.

Since my specially annoying daughter doesn't use the clothes enough to fill it yet, I will need a little more time to see how it goes well. 

Though she often put the clothes all over the house and had to look for the lost clothes, she can at least know "where to put them" and "where to look for"without difficulties.

These boxes are very good and helpful method to solve one of troubles, I think.

Today, I tried to finish clearing the family closet, but I had the other tasks and couldn't finish it in a day. 

昨日、一つのクローゼットを片付けました。
上段には薬やお道具箱や普段みんなが使う物が置いてあります。
下段は子ども達の服が入っている棚があります。

整理整頓の苦手な子どもがいるので、

①どこに置けばいいのか明確に示してあげること

②ちょっと物を置く一時的な保管場所を作らないこと

③ちゃんと片付けないといけないと思わせること

以上、３点を考えて作りました。

見て整然としていることに、少しでも心地よさを感じてくれたらいいけれど、どうかな？

ところで、この間設置した大きな箱は大いに役に立っています。

服を片付ける度に、上二人に文句を言われていたけれど、今は全くないです。
それどころか、箱を見て、「もうそろそろ畳まないといけないな」と息子は言って、片付けていました。

肝心な長女は、まだ服が山積み状態になっていないので、効果が確認できるのは、まだ時間がかかりそうです。

でも、今まではあちこち置きまくって、行方不明になっている服を探すことが少なくなかったのですが、少なくとも”どこに服を入れればいいのか””どこを探せばいいのか”分かりやすくなったと思います。

今日は、ウォークインクローゼットの整理をしましたが、他に用事もあり、１日では終わりませんでした。
