Though we booked the "hakama" for my younger daughter's graduation ceremony last month, she asked me to take her to the shop again, because she was thinking she should look for a much cheaper one.
That's why we went there today again today.
In the end, if she changed the shop brand's "hakama" into a non-brand, she found that she could rent it 3000 yen cheaper than the booked one.
Since the graduation ceremony of elementary schools for her is only once, we can let her wear the most favorite without paying attention to the price, but she seemed to be satisfied with the cheaper one.
Among her girl friends, they have been interested in and talked how much it costed, which one was better, net or shop rentals.
In net rentals, it's cheap and she can choose her favorite pattern hakama, but her mom don't know how to wear it.
If she select the shop, she has to decide among them displayed there, but they have dressing classes for free.
After thinking variously, she finally decided and seemed to be convinced.
And then, All we have to do is to join the dressing classes and wait for her graduation ceremony on March 17.
I felt fresh and cute by looking at my younger daughter who is willing to try to get cheaper even though it's a small amount instead of choosing the most favorite thing without paying attention to the fee.
Immediately, she reported to her friends.
先日卒業式に着る袴を予約して帰って来たのに、次女は、「もっと安い袴がないか、この前は周りをよく見てなかったから、もう一度見に行きたい」と、納得していない様子…。
ということで、今日、もう一度着物屋さんに行って来ました。
結果、袴をその店のさがのブランドじゃなく、ノンブランドの物にしても、見た目に違いはなく、3000円程抑えられることが分かりました。
一度きりのことだから、自分が納得する物を選ぶようにと念を押し、その上でもう一度訊ねたら、少し価格を下げれて納得したみたいです。
友だち達の間で、袴にいくら位かかるのか、ネットレンタルにしようか、専門店でレンタルしようか、それぞれ情報を持ち寄って、吟味しているようです。
ネットレンタルなら安いし、自分の好きな柄の袴が選べるけれど、母は着せ方が分からない…
専門店は、そこにある中で決めないといけないから、数は限られているけれど、無料で着付け教室も設けてくれている…
色々考えて最終的に、ようやく決断し、納得したようです。
あとは、その着付け教室に親子で参加するのと、3/17の卒業式を待つだけとなりました。
お金に糸目をつけないで、好みだけで突っ走っていくより、たとえ3000円でも安くなって喜んでいる次女を見て、何か初々しさを感じました。
早速、お友達に報告していました。
