Entrance Ceremony in Japan : April 7

We had entrance ceremonies of public elementary schools in my city on April 7 in Japan.
Both the 1st grade students and their parents wear formal suits, dresses or kimono.
However, it's a very heavily rainy day today, and cherry blossoms will be falling down.
But green and a little cherry blossoms are also beautiful.

As I explained in my previous blog, the 6th and 2nd grade students went to school and the other grades were off today.aya

The 6th grade students take good care of the first grades such as to hold a hand, guide them to their seats one after another and take them to a restroom during the ceremony.踊る

Some of the fresh kids crying because of the first experience at school, the others have troubles to go to a restroom because of the formal wears.
Moreover, there are a few who even can't control the timing for peeing.
The 6th grade students are very helpful for them.
When you see older boys and girls help little kids, you would feel very warmhearted.

And Every school starts tomorrow, April 8.aya
Everyone gets a new grade and a new semester here.
Congratulations !!
